Thanks to effective campaigns and political support, Project 1882 is changing the situation for the best for the animals that are most exploited and affected. Since 1882, we have been a leading animal protection organization in Sweden and abroad.

What we do
The 1882 project works around the world to change the lives of the animals that are most exploited and suffer the most. We've been doing this since 1882.
We provide information about the welfare of animals and convey the opinions of citizens to those in power. We form public opinion and influence the legislation. We inspire and enable consumers and companies to choose vegan options and make choices in the favor of animals. With the help of effective campaigns, we involve the public, highlight the problems of animal welfare, we offer solutions and achieve concrete changes.
We strive for a world where animals are respected as beings who have the right to life. As animals suffer worldwide, we work both locally and globally to achieve the most significant positive change for them.
Our customers are chickens, chickens, cows, pigs and other animals that need our help — we are here to give them a voice and protect their rights. This is the basis of our project since 1882.
What we stand for
Animals, like humans, are sensitive creatures who have interests and needs that must be met. We will never be able to accept what animals are treated as a commodity, as things that people can exploit in their own interests.
Through political lobbying, targeted campaigns and corporate relations, we are working to achieve our goal: creating a world in which animals are respected as creatures who have the right to life.

The 1882 project works around the world to change for the better the fate of the animals that are most exploited and suffer the most. Together with dedicated employees, volunteers of the organization conduct targeted campaigns and engage in political advocacy to achieve significant changes.
The operational activities of the project 1882 are carried out under the guidance of the general director and the team of senior management.
